Founded in August 2010, Love and Gratitude serves children and families in the rural community of Corail, Grand'Anse, Jérémie, Haiti.

Our mission is to expand educational opportunities for children in Haiti, support students in their academic journeys, and empower families and communities.

Through our virtual English as a Second Language program, we also provide accessible English-language education to Haitian adults around the world.

Music, community & shared purpose.

In August 2026, the Love and Gratitude community came together for a special concert filled with music, fellowship, and support for our continuing mission.

Children, families, performers, friends, and supporters shared a memorable gathering that celebrated community while keeping education and opportunity at the heart of the evening.

How We Started

It began with ten children.

In 2010, founder Josmanie Vincent encountered two mothers in Haiti working under difficult conditions to earn enough money to send their children to school.

After returning to Boston, she shared their stories and photographs with family and friends. Their support helped ten children begin school in September 2010.

That moment became the foundation of Love and Gratitude and a mission that continues today.
